Linda Nielsen obtained a Doctorate degree in law 1993, has since 1996 been law professor at the University of Copenhagen and is now professor of Global Governance. Linda Nielsen is the Chair of the Danish NCP which deals with cases of whether Danish companies, public authorities or civil society organisations act in compliance with the principles set up by the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The NCP is also responsible for raising awareness of what responsible business conduct entails.

Linda Nielsen has a.o. been President (Vice Chancellor) of the University of Copenhagen, Vice President for the European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies (EGE), Chairperson of UNESCO National Commission, and chairperson/member of numerous Councils and Law Reform Commissions in Denmark.
