Paula graduated as a Lawyer specialized in Corporate and Economics Matters at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1998.  In 1999, she was granted a scholarship by Unilever and she completed her Master´s Degree in Law and Economics at the Universidad Torcuato Di tella Business School.

Paula has been working as a Corporate Lawyer for 23 years. She joined Bestfoods in 1995 and continued her career in Unilever since 2000 after the merge of both companies. She started as a Junior Corporate, gaining broad experience in M&A projects, dispute resolution and marketing matters. Subsequently she was also appointed as Regulatory Affairs Manager.   In 2013, she was on a short term secondment at the Unilever Headquarters. Since then, she has been the Latam General Counsel for Antitrust & Customer Development. October 2018, she was promoted to Southern Cone Legal Director & Compliance Officer, thus also becoming a member of the Southern Cone Board. She has recently joined the Data Privacy Network as a leader for the LATAM cluster.

Externally oriented, Paula was a member of the Food Regulation Committee at COPAL (National Chamber for the Food Industry) for many years.  From 2010 to 2012, she was selected as a renowned lawyer specialized in food regulation matters, to represent COPAL at the CONASE (National Advisor Committee to the National Food Code). She is an active member of Forocompetencia in Argentina.

In 2015, she was recognized at the Unilever Global Legal Forum with the Collaboration Awards as a role model for Antitrust in Latin America. In 2016, she was acknowledged by GCR, the world´s leading antitrust law journal and news service, as one of the 150 outstanding women in the world dealing with antitrust. In 2017 she was awarded as member of the Legal 500 GC Powerlist in Argentina.

She is currently representing Unilever as Co Chair at the B20 Integrity and Compliance Task Force.
