Graduated in public policy, Joannie Leclerc started her career as a public affairs and crisis communications consultant with the international public relations firm Burson-Marsteller. For 7 years, as a specialist in environmental policies and stakeholder engagement, she supported multinational companies with institutional relations and change management with regard to their corporate social responsibility. In 2011, Joannie joined SUEZ, the global waste and water operator, to manage stakeholder engagement at the corporate level and in support to local operations of the Group. She’s now Dialogue and Societal Impact Director within the Sustainable Development Department, in charge of governance, access to essential services for all and protection of human rights. Joannie is a founding member of the OECD Water Governance Initiative and part of its steering committee.
