Casey Kelso is Advocacy Director at Transparency International (TI) Secretariat. Casey joined the TI Secretariat as the Director for the Africa and the Middle East Department in October 2005 until his appointment as Advocacy Director in 2016. Prior to that, he was the chief executive officer of the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers. Until 2002, Casey worked at Amnesty International’s International Secretariat in London in several positions, including Deputy Director for Africa Research & Campaigning. Casey has been leading a team in defining policy positions and advocacy at global institutions, as well as launching two global anti-corruption campaigns. He now works full time in a team dedicated to disrupting and replacing the systems that allow grand corruption to take place, and bringing the corrupt elite to justice, working with TI to design and implement multi-country research and advocacy projects with TI National Chapters.
