Agatino Camara

Agatino Camarda is a co-founder of the Civil Forum for Asset Recovery – CiFAR and leads its programme implementation and networking. Previously he worked at Transparency as a project coordinator supporting its chapters in campaigning and advocating for anti-corruption and asset recovery, with a focus on the Middle East and the North Africa region. He also worked in the fields of advocating and research on human rights violations and refugee protection. Agatino holds a BA in languages and cultures of the Middle East and a MA in international relations from Venice and Naples universities. He has researched and published several papers on the subject of anti-corruption in cooperation with Transparency International and other organisations, including on whistleblowing protection, media transparency, country by country reporting and asset recovery.
