Onyinye Ough is a Nigerian international development practitioner specialising in anti-corruption and service delivery. She is the author of ‘Emeka’s Money’, a children’s book that is aimed at educating kids on the impact of corruption. In 2018 she established the Nigerian based Non-Government Organization ‘Step Up for Social Development and Empowerment’ (Step Up Nigeria) with the aim to help strengthen accountability on government delivery and tackle some of the corruption challenges. She recently launched the ‘Catch Them Young Initiative’ which is aimed at promoting anti-corruption education in primary schools across Nigeria. Step Up Nigeria is currently also working on making the findings from audits of public agencies more accessible for the public.
