Olga Ametistova joined 2017 the GIZ Global Program “Combatting Illicit Financial Flows”. Since then she advises the GIZ in the issues of Asset Recovery and Mutual Legal Assistance. Olga is responsible for the international cooperation in criminal matters, inter-agency cooperation, fostering of investigative journalists and capacity building. Being a German qualified lawyer she was advising since 2008 the European Union and GIZ as an expert in Rule-of-Law and judicial reform issues. Since 2012, she has led for several years the GIZ Rule of Law program in Tajikistan.
